BINH PHUOC PROVINCE

Binh Phuoc is a province in the Southeast region of Vietnam. This is the province with the largest area in the South. The provincial capital of Binh Phuoc is Dong Xoai city, about 121 km from Ho Chi Minh City along National Highway 13 and National Highway 14 and 102 km along Provincial Highway 741. Binh Phuoc is a province located in the Southern Key Economic Region. The province has a 240 km border with the Kingdom of Cambodia, of which 3 border provinces include Tbong Khmum, Kratie, Mundulkiri. The province is the gateway and bridge connecting the region with the Central Highlands and Cambodia.

In 2020, Binh Phuoc is the 43rd largest administrative unit in Vietnam in terms of population, ranked 36th in terms of Gross Regional Product (GRDP), ranked 24th in terms of GRDP per capita, ranked 5th in terms of growth rate. Geography

Tourism

As a re-established province but in the process of formation and development, Binh Phuoc has long been known by many people as a land with a long-standing culture. The province has many historical relics of the central government associated with the cause of national liberation struggle such as: Phu Rieng Do with the uprising and struggle of Phu Rieng rubber workers in the resistance war against the French in 1929- 1930; The first Communist Party cell of the rubber industry in Vietnam and the Southeast provinces was established on October 28, 1929; Ba Ra prison is located in the middle of the sacred forest of poisonous water, which the French colonialists used as a place to imprison patriotic revolutionary soldiers: Loc Ninh diplomatic house is the capital of the provisional revolutionary government of the Republic of South Vietnam - a welcoming place. Four-party Military Union Delegations and International Delegations control and supervise the implementation of the Paris Agreement (1973); Military Commission Base Area and Command of the Armed Forces for the Liberation of South Vietnam (Ta Thiet Base); Soc Bom Bo with the image of the S'tieng people pounding rice day and night to feed the army fighting the enemy in the years 1965-1968, fighting against the US to save the country.
